Sassy Accounting Coach
Kellie at Sassy Accounting Coach had recently updated her logo, and wanted to rebrand her existing Squarespace website as well as include some new design elements, new pages, a blog, and an online store to sell her accounting templates.
The design brief was ‘bold and sassy’ and to move away from the current stock imagery of clouds that represented ‘cloud based services’. Hot Lizard Designs used the red gradient swish from the new logo and incorporated that as the main banner image for the landing page.
Blog posts from a different site were also transferred over from another site, and set up with basic SEO on each page. Due to the number of blog posts, a display page was created that was then separated into different years that visitors can browse easily.
The online store was set up with 20 products under different categories and allows Kellie to add more products at a later date. Due to the number of products, an additional design feature of ‘click to scroll’ was added so visitors can click a button at the top of the page and it automatically scrolls down to the relevant section on the page.
The whole site was structured so that content and new pages could easily be added by Kellie at any time in the future.
