Deeds Brewing
The initial site for Deeds Brewing was built on Squarespace, but the template design set up by the previous designer had serious limitations and no longer met the company needs.
The first set of updates included:
adding more products to the online store and optimising the display for multiple categories and mobile view
changing the header width as it was taking up a third of the screen
add a scrolling banner section to display the latest releases
updating the home page sections with anchor links that allowed visitors to click the navigation menu items which then auto-scrolled to that section
adding custom font to the product pages
a fixed header so the main navigation links remained at the top of the page as visitors scrolled down the page
As the company has grown over the past couple of years, so has their website.
Over time more products have been added, more details have been added to the About page with updated images.
When COVID-19 hit, the company knew they would be doing more sales directly to the public, and reviewed options to streamline their customer experience when purchasing online.
In July 2021 Deeds Brewing launched their new Tap Room. A new landing page where visitors could book tickets, download a menu, and find out more details about the venue, along with a carousel gallery was required.
Widgets such as OpenTable and Eventbrite were embedded onto the page so visitors could book without being taken off the Deeds Brewing website, a custom background with patterned border was coded in, along with a custom contact form to match the page theme.
This new page was added to the Home page and main navigation, and the design was fine-tuned to optimise the mobile responsive display.
As the lockdown extended, Deeds Brewing also wanted to add a gift voucher option to the TapRoom pages. The gift voucher page was created in Zen Global by the client, which was embedded into a pop up page whenever a visitor clicked the ‘Buy Gift Voucher’ button.
