I’m Kati, and I believe your website should be the most reliable part of your business - not a source of stress.
I founded Hot Lizard Designs after seeing too many brilliant business owners handcuffed to websites they couldn't update, or stuck with designs that looked great but said nothing to their customers. I built this studio on a foundation of transparency: no technical overwhelm, no "cloak and dagger" tactics, and total control for the owner.
My approach is informed by a bit of a different background. I’ve lived in five countries and studied in France and Germany - experiences that taught me how to communicate across cultures and cut through the noise. I hold an MBA and have spent over a decade in the business community, including serving a two-year term as a Board Member and Marketing Chair for the Wanneroo Business Association.
I’m a firm believer in the resilience of small business. During the 2020 lockdowns, I co-founded the Business Swap Shop, building a platform that allowed over 80 local businesses to trade services and stay afloat during the uncertainty.
