Sipp Soda Bar

Based in Colorado, USA, Tim was looking for a Squarespace site to promote his new start up business - a drive-thru service offering different flavoured soda combinations and a selection of cookies.

We discussed the project initially over the phone and exchanged content and design ideas. Tim already had his logo and was designing up a few menus to send over to go on the site.

The landing page had to have impact, and get the message across quickly that this was a soda bar. As there were limited images available that were directly related to sodas, Hot Lizard Designs went with a simple graphic design and added parallax scrolling to give the effect of bubbles moving up the page.

Due to the number of combinations available under flavoured sodas, HLD went with an interactive element where visitors selected their base soda of choice and the page would automatically scroll down to that menu. Visitors could then click the ‘back to top’ button to return and select another soda option.

With a mobile friendly design, and the option to expand the site with new menus, images, and an e-commerce functionality, this site is ready to grow with the business!
