Efkere

Documenting the historic Turkish village of Efkere and the people who lived there.

When Jonathan, a passionate family history researcher, approached us, his existing website was struggling to showcase his extensive research effectively. The outdated platform made it difficult to read, update, and access on mobile devices, limiting the reach and impact of his valuable work.

To address these challenges, we created a new Squarespace website that not only made Jonathan's research more accessible but also enhanced the user experience. The new site features an intuitive layout for easy exploration, tabbed categories for efficient navigation, and a translation widget to cater to a global audience. We also incorporated engaging elements like embedded videos and parallax scrolling images.

To ensure Jonathan could maintain the site independently, we provided personalized training and ongoing support, allowing him to keep his research current and dynamic as his project grows.

I could not be happier with the work that Kati, and Hot Lizard Designs, carried out on my website. Communication is great, and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with her work. My website means a lot to me. She understood that. Her work is amazing!
