TOTAL Plumbing & Gas had outgrown its original website. As their work shifted from residential to large-scale mining, remote, and commercial projects, they needed a site that matched their expertise and made the right impression with high-value clients.
After a quick discovery call and signed proposal, the redesign process was smooth and efficient. The client supplied new content and imagery, and within 48 hours, we presented a visual draft to help them finalise the rest. The full site was completed within 7 days.
The updated website focused on:
A professional new design to reflect their commercial work
Clearer service breakdowns with room to expand each offering
A polished Projects page with custom filters for showcasing expertise
A Careers page with a resume upload feature to streamline hiring
We gave the homepage a much-needed layout upgrade - ditching the cramped design in favour of a spacious, clean layout that makes each service shine. A new colour scheme, using rich dark teal, brought their brand colours (light blue and orange) to life and created a bold, trustworthy first impression.

Service Display on Home Page
In contrast to the original home page that tried to squeeze everything into a small square, we decided to let each service section be displayed within a lot more space - giving a more organised, spacious feel, and then allowing the visitor to click through for more information.
Colour Themes
We noticed the original white background was washing out the light blue and orange in the Total Plumbing & Gas logo, making it feel less impactful than it deserved. By introducing a rich dark teal background, we were able to make those brand colors really pop and give the site a much more substantial, professional presence.
We also added some custom touches to the navigation, creating smooth hover effects and updating the dropdown menus to seamlessly blend with the new color palette. These small but important details help create that polished, cohesive look that makes visitors take notice and builds instant trust.
Job Applications
The new Careers page features a clean, simple layout that Richard can easily duplicate for new job postings. We added a handy file upload feature so applicants can attach their resumes and certificates directly through the contact form, streamlining the whole application process.
Portfolio of Expertise
Richard wanted to showcase his team's impressive work and easily add new projects as they completed them.
We created a smart project gallery with custom filtering, plus made sure relevant projects automatically appear on each service page. This means visitors can quickly see the quality and scope of Total Plumbing & Gas's work, building confidence as they browse.
