PORTFOLIO

Here are some of the websites that have been designed by Hot Lizard Designs.  In each case, these clients wanted a more professional image online, a website that was easy to navigate and update, and a few customised features.  All of these websites required a quick turnaround due to business requirements, and Hot Lizard Designs worked closely with each client to design a website that fitted their needs perfectly.

MKLC Training - Online Teacher Training Provider - UK

MKLC Training needed a modern, clean looking, mobile-responsive website that would attract existing and potential students.  The existing design was limited in terms of functionality, and MKLC Training wanted a 'fresher' look, as well as an online enrolment and e-commerce function to streamline some of the administration for online enrolments.

Hot Lizard Designs set up an online store with customised icons to promote courses, enrolment forms that are sent directly to one designated email address, an online chat feature for visitor queries, a blog page that links to all their social media sites, and set up and integrated an independent student review application to build consumer trust.

Teacher Props - Non-Profit Community Enterprise - USA

The owner of Teacher Props was setting up a new non-profit community project and needed a professional looking website to attract clients. They already had a Squarespace website, but needed help to take it to the next level.

Hot Lizard Designs was able to theme the buttons and headers to match the logo branding, insert links to images to direct visitors to other pages within the website, and add scrolling galleries to showcase each property.  HLD also created customised testimonial images of owners and renters to ensure the design was consistent throughout the site.

McGrath Benchtop Solutions - Manufacturer - NZ

McGrath Benchtop Solutions (MBS) switched to Squarespace as their previous website was a basic template that came free with their email.  The original design was hard to navigate, very basic layout with limited design options, and was not mobile responsive.

Hot Lizard Designs was able to showcase their products and services with scrolling galleries, a downloadable 'quick quote form', add additional details about products and services, & SEO optimisation with new website copy.

Professional Resume Services - Professional Services - Australia

The owner was setting up a brand new website as they were getting more work from their second business.  As such, they needed a new logo, and were flexible in terms of colour, but wanted a clean, minimalist look overall.

Hot Lizard Designs designed a new logo, set up a company email that would receive enquiries from the website, registered a new domain name, designed a website with customised icons, and incorporated a form for visitors to select a service, upload documents, and make payment.

Bronte Capital - Fund Manager

Bronte Capital needed a revamp from a dated website that could compete on a professional level with other fund manager websites.  Features include: scrolling home page, pop up box with disclaimer, downloadable newsletters with customised icons, and an overall branding to match company logo.

Sleepnoddy - Travel Neck Cushion

This client needed help with a Squarespace website that had been set up by another designer, but was not ready to start promoting / selling products.  HLD set up an e-commerce store, redesigned the layout to make sure it looked great on mobile devices, and linked up different email addresses for enquiries and orders.

Lavish Me Hair & Make Up - Hairdresser & Weddings

The original website was built by a family friend, but had a poor layout, flash graphics, and did not display any business information.  Hot Lizard Designs created a new website on Squarespace that incorporated the logo and colour scheme, with a clear, simple layout so it was easy for visitors to find the information they needed.
